Hygge Dress grew from a love of beautiful fabric, considered design and the quiet pleasure of making dresses.

At Hygge Dress, we believe clothing should make life simpler, more comfortable and more beautiful. We create for women who value ease, softness and quiet confidence — moving away from the idea that there is one standard body type, or one way to feel feminine.

We also choose to work on a small scale. For us, this is an important part of creating thoughtfully and sustainably — making considered quantities, taking our time and allowing each collection to evolve naturally rather than being driven by the constant deadlines of the traditional fashion calendar.

Just as important are the relationships behind our dresses. We speak regularly with our production teams and fabric suppliers, sharing ideas and drawing on their knowledge, craftsmanship and experience. We value working collaboratively and allowing the people who know their craft so well to be part of the creative process.

Our dresses are made in Jaipur and Bali — two places very close to our hearts. Each has its own beauty, character, traditions and creative spirit, and there is something quite magical to us about knowing that these special places are where our dresses begin their lives.
